Aputure 600d Pro Rental in Vero Beach, FL — What Cinematographers Need to Know

The most capable LED in our inventory, available for daily rental on the Treasure Coast. Here's everything about the light, how we run it, and what to pair with it.

The Aputure 600d Pro is the workhorse of our electric package, and for good reason. At 600W of daylight-balanced output, it hits hard enough to punch through a large diffusion overhead, create a convincing window source in a dark interior, or supplement full Florida sun without disappearing into the ambient. It's also quiet, controllable, and genuinely idiot-proof on set — which matters when your gaffer is also pulling cable.

We rent it daily from our Vero Beach location and deliver across the Treasure Coast — Fort Pierce, Stuart, West Palm Beach, and points in between. Here's what you need to know before you book.

What "600W" Actually Means in Florida Daylight

People sometimes ask if this light is powerful enough to compete with direct Florida sun. The honest answer: it depends on how you're using it. Straight sun-to-sun outdoors at midday, you're not winning. But the 600d Pro is extremely effective when you:

Florida tip: The 600d Pro through an 8x8 Litedam or Ultrabounce is one of our most-requested combos for outdoor lifestyle and commercial work here. It produces a soft, wrapping key that reads natural — not "lighting" — and it's fast to set up with our C-stand and arm combo.

Modifiers We Stock for the 600d Pro

We carry a Bowens-mount modifier kit that pairs with the 600d Pro. What's available with your rental:

Power Requirements — Can It Run on Your Generator?

The 600d Pro draws approximately 720W from the wall at full output. Our Honda EU7000is handles it easily — you can run the 600d Pro, 300d II, and two 120d units simultaneously off the EU7000 with power to spare.

If you're running off a building circuit, you need a 20A circuit (or two 15A circuits via separate breakers). Do not run it on the same circuit as air conditioning or other high-draw appliances. The ballast is fan-cooled and generates moderate heat — keep it off carpet and out of enclosed cases while running.
