The B7C kit is the fastest way to motivate practical light sources on set. Screw them into lamp sockets, string lights, or clip-light fixtures already in your location — then control every bulb's color and intensity wirelessly from your phone via Sidus Link. Use them to set the color temperature of background practicals to match your key, or push them into saturated color as motivated sources for music videos and narrative work. Eight bulbs give you enough to populate an entire room or split them across multiple locations on a large set.
Gaffer
At 7W per bulb, the B7C kit is essentially zero load on your power budget — eight bulbs draw less than 60W total. Drop them into any existing fixture without touching your power distro. The wireless battery operation means you're not running additional stingers into your location's decorative fixtures. The Sidus Link app controls groups or individual bulbs, so you can set the background practicals to one color scene and the foreground fill bulb to another. Charge the bulbs in the case between setups — full charge takes about 90 minutes.
Key Grip / Beginner
The B7C is the easiest light in the kit to use. Screw the bulb into any E26 or E27 socket — standard American household screw base — and control it from the Sidus Link app on your phone. No stand, no cable management, no rigging. Keep the charging case on set and swap depleted bulbs with fresh ones. The main gotcha: battery runtime is about 2 hours at full output, so plan your charging rotation for long shooting days.
⚠ Indoor Use Only
The B7C bulbs are not weather rated. Use indoors or in covered, dry locations only. Do not use in rain, high humidity, or in fixtures exposed to the elements. The charging case is also not weather rated — keep it in a dry location on set.
